Job summary

Sin Yen Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical Designer to design and develop automation equipment based on customer requirements. You will prepare concept designs and lead mechanical design from concept to acceptance testing.

The role requires strong 3D CAD modeling, drawings, and BOM creation, with cross-functional collaboration and effective communication to support manufacturing and testing teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Advanced Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Machine design related field working experience will be added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD modeling, drawings and machine design with experience in design analyses.
• Good communication and able to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics 11-50 employees.

Responsibilities

• Involve in the design and development of automation equipment based on customer requirement.
• Prepare concept designs of machine or equipment that meet customer requirements and expectations.
• Responsible for mechanical design from concept through acceptance testing.
• Create CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, BOMs to support manufacturing, assembly, test and supporting components.
