Job summary

Elsoft Research Bhd in Penang invites a Mechanical Engineer to design automated machines and contribute automation concepts to meet customer requirements.

You will prepare BOMs, work closely with manufacturing, and manage project documentation, including testing during start-up.

Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering is required; 2–3 years in automation preferred, fresh graduates are welcome, and SolidWorks knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of working experience in automation field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge in 3D design software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Possess good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and innovative in meeting new design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of automated machines.
• Provide automation concept and proposal to meet customer's requirement.
• Prepare BOM and work closely with manufacturing.
• Perform test run and debugging during machine start-up.
• Overall project management and documentation.
