Job summary

The role involves tracking material status, delivery, and readiness, while coordinating with maintenance, operations, procurement and vendors to prevent delays. Candidate should be proficient in data entry and familiar with MRDY status or similar systems to support timely material availability and governance

Responsibilities

Job description

Scope of Works:

Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite materials management activities including ensuring material availability, accuracy of material data/record, preservation of resources, proper surplus/scrap management and material disposal to meet project requirement

Material & Supply Chain Management:

• Ability to plan, request, and track materials
• Understanding procurement processes and vendor coordination
• Skills in inventory control, surplus handling, and material readiness

Coordination & Communication:

• Strong ability to coordinate with maintenance team, planner, operations, procurement & vendors
• Acts as central focal point for material readiness

Monitoring & Tracking:

• Competent in tracking material status and delivery
• Ability to manage material delays and performance reporting
• Experience in data entry and updates in system (e.g., MRDY status)

Problem Solving & Work Execution Support:

• Ability to resolve material issues quickly to avoid job delays
• Supports maintenance execution through timely material availability

Compliance & Process Discipline:

• Adherence to material management procedures and policies
• Awareness of approved supplier lists and procurement governance
