Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a dynamic Material & Production Planning Executive with manufacturing exposure to lead raw material and production planning. You will develop and implement production plans, coordinate resources, monitor inventory, and analyze data to improve efficiency and meet delivery targets.

The role requires strong Excel data analysis skills, ERP aptitude, and the ability to liaise with multiple teams to ensure smooth production operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the automotive & consumer project industry.
• Strong manufacturing exposure and data analysis capabilities using Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production & raw material planning to meet customer requirements and company goals.
• Prepare schedules for material planning, capacity planning, manpower planning and other resources.
• Develop production plans, monitor inventory, and analyze data to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with sales, supply chain, purchasing, production and suppliers to ensure smooth production runs and optimal stock levels.
• Monitor daily production performance, identify shortages or issues, and resolve them promptly.
• Prepare KPI reports, machine utilization, and capacity/production analysis for improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and inventory stock counts on a yearly basis.

Material & Production Planning Executive (Manufacturing exposure)

Must have:

• Good in using MS Excel to analyze data

We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team.

Oversees and manages all aspects of raw material, production planning and control process to ensure efficient utilization of resources and optimizing material planning time & production process to meet organization goals. Develop and implement production plans, coordinate resources, monitor inventory and analyzing data to optimize production efficiency.

You will play an important role in:

• Responsible for production & raw material planning, analysis and performing overall planning for orders received to fulfill customer requirements and achieve company objectives.
• Compile schedules for material planning, hardware capacity planning, manpower planning and other resources planning.
• Plan and manage production schedules to ensure each operation meets customer delivery deadlines.
• Liaise with sales, supply chain, purchasing, production & suppliers to ensure smooth run of production and maintain stock build at optimum level.
• Monitor production performance in daily basis, identify WIP shortage, raw material shortage, equipment malfunction, others manufacturing concern, and resolve any potential issues in timely manner.
• Perform production output monitoring and prepare relevant reports such as KPI, machine utilization, PDS analysis and improvement.
• Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets, identifying areas of improvement, and support for continuous improvement
• Involved for inventory stock count on a yearly basis.
• Performance of other ad hoc job as assigned by the superior.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Experience in the automotive & consumer project industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor Degree in related field

Technical

• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing process with planning efficiency
• Understand lean manufacturing principle.
• Experience in capacity planning.
• Familiar with supply chain management.

Non-Technical

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in production planning software and tools; experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
