Job summary

Sin Hock Leong Coach Works is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely material availability and optimal use of resources. You will work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain steady operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in production planning in a manufacturing setting, strong analytical ability, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor production progress and identify bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to understand product requirements and delivery timelines.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Prepare production reports for management review.
