Job summary

Lifework HR Services Sdn Bhd in Penang (Bayan Lepas) is seeking a Production Planner to support daily production schedules, monitor production flow in SAP ERP, and liaise with the Material Controller to ensure timely materials for production.

The role requires a degree or diploma in a business-related field with strong communication and time management skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in a business-related field.
Good communication and time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
Familiarity with SAP ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and plan daily production schedules.
Monitor production process in SAP ERP.
Liaise with Material Controller to ensure timely materials.
Coordinate with Production Supervisor & Department Leader for resources.
Support production to meet quality and quantity targets.
Assist implementation of processes to optimise resources.
Responsible for production to achieve monthly plan.
Prepare production monthly productivity reports.
Be aware of risks and opportunities related to the role.

Requirement

Degree Holder/Diploma holder with any business related qualifications
Good understanding and communication skills.
Good time management skill.

Work experience in manufacturing industry will be an advantage.

Responsibility

Prepared & plan for daily production schedules.
Monitoring production process in SAP ERP system.
Liaise with Material controller to ensure the required materials are on time to support production.
To liaise with Production Supervisor & Department Leader to ensure machinery or workman is available for Production planning.
To support production to achieve target in term of quality and quantity.
To assist implementation of the production process to achieve optimisation of resources.
Responsible for production to achieve production plan in respective line.
Responsible for production monthly report especially on productivity info.
Be aware of the risks and opportunities related to the job assigned.
Be aware of the needs and expectation of interested party, the consequences of failure and their impact.
