Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a backup vendor planner assistant to support SAP and WMS-driven material planning, ensuring timely quotes and smooth supplier coordination.

The role includes raising customer approvals, updating fulfillment statuses, vendor setup in SAP, and generating regular reports while helping minimize obsolete stock and avoid production delays.

Qualifications

• Experience in vendor planning and supply chain processes.
• Ability to prepare and update quotes and run reports.
• Familiarity with SAP and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Be backup for vendor planner assistant.
• Raise workflow for customer approval.
• Prepare and update quotes in SAP.
• Update status in Fulfillment Operations Advisor.
• Perform vendor set up in SAP.
• Run SAP to check late reservations.
• Assist planner/buyer with administrative tasks and SAP reports.
• Liaise with SAP Team for system errors during quote updates.
• Assess volume against planning assumptions.
• Implement processes to standards and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
• Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule.
• Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy.
• Minimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability.
• Create regular statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organization.
• Be responsible for other material planning activities.
• Must have experience in SAP & WMS.
