Job summary

BI Technologies Corporation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia (Kuantan) seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead materials management and S&OP processes for manufacturing operations.

The role requires a degree in Business or related field, 8 years of materials management experience, SAP/MRP knowledge, and strong communication skills. You will mentor the SCM team and drive sourcing and supplier relationships across global markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Management or other related discipline.
• 8 years working experience in Management of materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge and understanding of MRP systems – preferably SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain effectively to ensure continuous supply of quality materials.
• Manage Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Manage and mentor the Supply Chain team, including setting performance objectives, meetings and communicating direction and changes.
• Ensure global trade compliance practices are in effect across product distribution to ensure compliance with all import/export requirements.
• Responsible for regular forecast of demands of product to ensure accurate supplies of raw materials and finished products.
• Responsible for supervision and development of Supply Chain team
• Work with Product Management to establish international supply chain for targeted geographical markets for selected solutions that meet local regulatory and tax requirements.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategy to meet company’s objective and business growth.
• Identify and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers to establish cost and delivery target.
• Coordinate with QA department in Supplier Relationship Management
• Participated in supplier and Contract Manufacturing Provider development program.
• Ensure indirect expenses /MRO are under control in line with budgetary numbers
• Ensure shipping policies and custom procedures are adhere to
• Liaise with government agencies such as Customs and DOSH on shipping matters and schedule waste management.
• Participate and support global procurement council activities.
• Solve in a timely manner any issue that arises that will cause downtime to operations.
• Accountable for maintaining corporate ISO procedures relating to the Materials Group.
• Adhere and support company quality, safety, and health policies.
• Participate in plant wide activities (such as Internal quality audit, Safety Programs, Health Programs, 5S etc.)
