Job summary

Copeland in Penang, Malaysia seeks a supply chain professional to forecast demand for products and materials and to develop inventory management plans. The role involves independently managing product lines across regions and leading department projects while building strategic relationships.

The ideal candidate will influence without authority, resolve competing ideas, and continuously learn new technologies and ERP systems to optimize supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• BS/BSE level degree in business, supply chain, or related discipline.
• Preferred 1 year experience and/or internships.
• Competence in manufacturing processes.
• Basic Project Management skills.
• Good computer skills related to ERP technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes as it relates to the supply chain.
• Ability to work positively with the supply base and multiple internal organizations to drive collaborative supply chain solutions.
• Demonstrated problem solving and adaptability within the supply chain context.

Forecast demand for products & materials

Develops expertise in the required disciplines (i.e. Excel, Oracle, Agile, APS, Rapid Response (RR), Kinaxis, etc.)

Ability to work positively with the supply base and potentially multiple organizations internally to NI to drive collaborative supply chain solutions.

Demonstrated problem solving, ability to learn new technologies and processes as it relates to the supply chain. Good verbal and written communication skills.
