Job summary

BROOKS AUTOMATION MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is looking for a Material Handler on a 1-year contract in Pasir Gudang. You will receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials against documents to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities include labeling, proper storage, FIFO replenishment, inventory transactions, and coordinating with production to avoid line downtime. Candidates should have 2+ years in material handling and be able to work 3 shifts.

Qualifications

• SPM or certificate or diploma recognised by the company.
• At least 2 years of experience in material handling and warehouse operations.
• Basic math, computer or warehouse management system skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, reach truck or other MHE.
• Ability to work independently and be a team player.
• Willing to work on rotational shifts (3 shifts) and at Pasir Gudang.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials, inspect for damages and report to supervisor.
• Verify delivery documents and count materials to ensure accuracy.
• Breakbulk, print and affix labels on packages or pallets.
• Transfer materials to designated racking and ensure correct locator in system.
• Kit materials per work orders and replenish FIFO per warehouse SOP.
• Ensure timely supply to production to avoid line downtime.
• Perform inventory transactions and participate in stock/cycle counts.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and comply with safety policies.
• Operate MHE following policies and assist ad hoc tasks as needed.

Job description

Material Handler - 20 Headcounts (1 Year Contract)

Receive and unload incoming materials, inspect incoming materials for damage and report any damages to warehouse clerk and supervisor.

Check on the delivery documents and count on the incoming materials to ensure the correct documents and quantity are received. Report any discrepancies to warehouse clerk and supervisor

Breakbulk the incoming materials (if required), perform receiving transaction and print the labels to paste on the package/carton/pallet.

Transfer the incoming materials to the designated racking and shelves. Ensure the correct locator is scanned into the system.

Ensure to kit the correct materials and quantity as per work orders or the replenishment bins from the locator and issue by FIFO as per warehouse SOP. Ensure supply the material on time to production to avoid any line down.

Perform accurate accounting and inventory verification during receiving, replenishment and dispatch activities.

Replenish materials according to established procedures and designated storage locations including work stations within the cleanroom.

Operating the material handling equipment (MHE) adheres to the company’s safety policy and procedures to transport the materials to storage, production and loading bay.

Handle and store the materials adhere with the company’s quality policy and procedures.

Perform inventory transactions timely to adhere to the cut-off times to meet the department KPI. Assist in performing stock count and daily cycle count. This is crucial to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the inventory.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment adhere to the company policies and procedures to minimize the accidents and injuries.

Perform any ad hoc task that assigned by the warehouse supervisor.

Education / Skills / Abilities / Work Experience Requirements:

SPM or Certificate or Diploma

At least 2` years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, preferably in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.

Basic knowledge of math, computer or warehouse management system skill to perform inventory transactions.

Basic knowledge on Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Outlook).

Experience in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, reach truck or other material handling equipment

Ability to work independently and be a team player

Willing to work on rotational shifts (3 shifts)

Willing to work at Pasir Gudang
