Indium Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is hiring a Material Handler to support warehousing and distribution. In this full-time role, you will move, store, and organize materials and products to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment and smooth supply chain operations.

You will handle receiving, picking, packing, forklift operation, inventory checks, and safety compliance while collaborating with the team to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehousing or logistics preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg regularly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.

Responsibilities

About the role

Indium Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our team in Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our warehousing and distribution operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials and products throughout our facility. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth flow of our supply chain and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming materials and products into our inventory management system
• Accurately picking, packing, and labelling orders according to customer specifications and company standards
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently
• Organising and maintaining warehouse storage areas to maximise space utilisation and accessibility
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring products are secured properly to prevent damage during transit
• Conducting regular inventory checks and reconciling stock levels to maintain accurate records
• Following all health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Assisting with warehouse maintenance tasks and identifying potential safety hazards
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets
• Reporting any discrepancies, damaged goods, or equipment issues to management promptly

What we're looking for

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
• Prior experience as a Material Handler, warehouse operative, or in a similar role within warehousing or logistics environments
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Physical stamina and capability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 25 kg regularly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems
• Strong commitment to health and safety compliance
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Flexibility to work shifts as required by operational needs
