Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Costing Analyst to analyse raw material usage from ERP/production systems and compare input against production output. You will monitor consumption against BOM/standard usage, investigate variances, and prepare variance reports.

Role requires 2-4 years in manufacturing costing or material/inventory control, with strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills. collaboration with Finance and Production teams to reduce wastage and costs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Costing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing costing, material/inventory control or similar roles.

Investigate abnormal usage, wastage, scrap, shortages and unexplained material losses.

Work closely with Production and Warehouse teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Prepare reports on material consumption, wastage, yield and cost variances.

Identify opportunities to reduce material wastage, improve yield and control production costs.

Assist Finance in inventory, costing and material variance reconciliation.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Costing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field.

2-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing costing, material/inventory control or similar roles.

Strong Excel and analytical skills; ERP/MRP experience is an advantage.
