Job summary

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business management or supply chain management along with 7 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with MRP software and a strong understanding of the supply chain process are essential.

Job description

• Integration of sales & production forecast into material replenishment.
• Schedule the right volumes of materials, goods, and products to meet production requirements.

Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory risk and ensure contingency plans are in place.
• Check current inventory levels and compare them against production schedules.
• To manage obsolete inventory effectively.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Analyze data for inventory level, material usage, expiry list and buffer stocks requirement to identify trends and areas for improvement.

People Management:

• Manage, coach & develop a high performing team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain management or any related field.
• 7 years of experience in material planning, inventory control or supply chain management.
• Supply Chain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, production, and distribution.
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Expertise in using MRP software to forecast material needs, plan inventory, and schedule procurement.
• Inventory Management: Experience in managing stock levels, reducing excess inventory, and ensuring material availability.
• Good at mathematic and statistics.
• Familiar at the knowledge of forecasting, supply network, packaging product specification, storage condition requirement and product master scheduling.
• Willing to adapt/cope in the fast moving and changing working environment. Prior FMCG experience is strongly desired.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision and able to work as a good team player and leadership.
