CHIS Internationals in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dynamic marketing and procurement role to drive market research and client engagement in the palm oil sector. You will build relationships with clients and stakeholders, coordinate with internal teams, and travel regionally to meet prospects and customers.

The successful candidate will have a background in marketing or business, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in Bahasa and English, with Mandarin a bonus.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in marketing or a related field.
• 2–3 years in sales/marketing; palm oil industry experience preferred.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia and work with clients.
• Strong communication in Bahasa and English; Mandarin is a plus.

Job Description

• Conduct market research to identify trends, understand customer needs and preferences, and assess competitive landscapes in the palm oil sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders in the palm oil industry.
• Effectively communicate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients.
• Regular travel to meet with clients or prospects, especially in a regional or national sales territory.
• Familiar with industry regulations and standards related to palm oil production and marketing
• Handle customer inquiries, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of cost per order (CPO) and its derivatives.
• Monitor and analyze performance and generate reports to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

• Manage FFB procurement activities, including sourcing, and purchasing.
• Monitor FFB quality management to ensure quality standards and requirements are met.
• Coordinate logistics and delivery arrangements to ensure timely and efficient delivery of FFB and related products.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies, Administration, Management, Commerce, or equivalent.
• Graduate with background and experience in consumer/customer/client facing business, sales and marketing environments, preferably in Palm Oil industry and have Estate background.
• At least 2-3 years working experience in related is required. Direct experience in palm oil industry and Estate background is an added advantage
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skill in Bahasa and English. Able to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work and travel around Malaysia when necessary.
