About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join JJ Suppliers Sdn Bhd in Skudai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives and helping to drive the company's brand presence and communications strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital and traditional media
• Create and curate marketing content such as social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials
• Support the coordination of marketing events and promotional activities
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies
• Maintain and update marketing databases and customer information systems
• Assist in the preparation of marketing reports and performance metrics
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling, correspondence and documentation
• Support the management of company social media accounts and digital platforms
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and communication

What we're looking for

• Education in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese & English, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with basic design tools or content management systems
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Creative thinking and a passion for marketing and brand development
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work
