Job summary

PH PALM EXPRESS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Marketing Executive to drive market analysis, provisioning, and trading support in the sustainable palm oil sector. You will coordinate with suppliers, buyers, and refineries while developing knowledge in palm oil provisioning and trading.

This role offers hands-on training, a strong numerical and analytical environment, and is based at our Stulang Laut, Johor Bahru HQ. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
• Strong numerical and data-tracking abilities; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, buyers, and refineries.

• English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly market and sales provisioning, including calculating monthly provision amounts.
• Conduct market analysis to support trading decisions and business insights.
• Monitor daily mill reports and synthesize data for management review.
• Monitor contract delivery balances and compute under/overlock positions accurately.
• Support the sales trading process and daily trading desk execution.
• Track contract usage for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel (PK).
• Coordinate FFB delivery schedules and oversee loading/unloading logistics.
• Serve as primary contact for FFB suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monthly market and sales provisioning, including the calculation of monthly provision amounts
• Conduct market analysis to support trading decisions and business insights
• Monitor daily mill reports and synthesize data for the management team
• Monitor contract delivery balances, ensuring precise calculations of under/overlock positions
• Support the sales trading process and daily trading desk execution
• Track contract quantity usage specifically for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel (PK)
• Coordinate FFB delivery schedules and oversee all loading/unloading logistics
• Serve as the primary point of contact for FFB suppliers to ensure smooth operations
• Facilitate daily and monthly trade completions by following up on critical trade info
• Monitor trade execution schedules to ensure timely fulfillment
• Maintain daily communication with buyers regarding contract statuses and schedules
• Handle daily out-spec complaints for CPO and PK shipments
• Liaise with refineries and negotiate fair quality/out-spec deductions with buyers

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Agriculture/Plantation Management, or a related field
• Strong numerical agility and analytical skills : comfortable with calculations and data tracking (Training will be provided)
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with suppliers, buyers, and refineries
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required with the ability to communicate effectively with a a diverse range of customers and clients being an added advantage.

This position will be based at our HQ office in Stulang Laut, Johor Bahru.
