Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a marketing/administrative role in automotive industry or similar
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM or marketing software
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and execute marketing campaigns across channels (digital, print, social)
• Maintain marketing databases and campaign tracking systems
• Prepare marketing materials (brochures, flyers, newsletters)
• Support events, launches and promotions
• Conduct market research and collect data for campaigns

About the role

Banzen Motors Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and organised Marketing Clerk to join our dynamic marketing and communications team in Melaka. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our marketing operations and helping to drive the success of our automotive business. As a Marketing Clerk, you will be at the heart of our marketing activities, providing essential administrative and operational support that enables our team to deliver impactful campaigns and communications. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our brand presence and supporting the growth of Banzen Motors Sdn Bhd.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print and social media

Maintaining and updating marketing databases, client records and campaign tracking systems to ensure accurate and current information

Preparing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, newsletters and promotional content for distribution

Supporting the organisation of marketing events, product launches and promotional activities

Conducting market research and collecting data to inform marketing strategies and campaigns

Managing correspondence with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders, responding to enquiries promptly and professionally

Liaising with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and services

Monitoring and recording marketing expenses and assisting with budget tracking and reporting

Supporting the development and maintenance of marketing collateral and brand asset libraries

Assisting with social media content scheduling, posting and basic analytics reporting

Performing general administrative duties including filing, data entry and document management

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a marketing, administrative or similar support role within the automotive industry or a comparable sector

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software or CRM systems

Knowledge of social media platforms and basic digital marketing concepts

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst also demonstrating initiative and independence

A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in marketing and the automotive industry

Strong customer service orientation and professional interpersonal skills

Flexibility and willingness to learn new tools, systems and marketing practices

A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field is preferred
