Job summary

Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad (HLIB) is seeking an analyst to perform trade and communication surveillance across all asset classes. You will escalate issues to supervisors and prepare internal reports on suspicious activities for surveillance purposes.

The role involves producing internal and external reports, handling material gathering, and processing daily and monthly reports for Equities and Treasury, while monitoring evolving regulatory developments that may impact the bank.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or any equivalent.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

To undertake trade and communication surveillance, across all traded asset classes.
To elevate any issues arising from trade and communication surveillance to supervisor.
To prepare reports for internal suspicious activities for surveillance purposes.
To prepare internal and external reports and related material gathering.
To do processing and reporting for relevant tasks such as Equities and Treasury daily and monthly reports.
To assist in monitoring regulatory developments and identify new regulations that will impact the Bank.
