Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad is seeking an experienced IT Risk professional in Kuala Lumpur to support information security and risk governance. You will monitor compliance areas, perform risk assessments, and prepare monthly risk reports to help safeguard critical information assets.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent, at least 6 years in related financial services risk domains, and strong English communication.
Responsible to assist in ensuring information assets and technologies are adequately protected, which include the following:
Perform compliance monitoring of communication security, data vulnerability, business continuity and IT compliance risk and identify defensive steps including firewalls, security software and data encryption.
Perform IT Risk Assessment for information technology projects to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist to conduct annual review on related policies.
Prepare monthly IT risk reports and ad-hoc reports.
Keep up to date on technology risk and security matters.
Assist in carrying out other IT Risk Management duties as assigned by the Company.
Possess Bachelor Degree or recognized professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or any equivalent.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in related industries such as banking, stockbroking, fund management, or insurance in product control or risk management domain.
Possess any IT related certifications will be a plus.
Detail-oriented, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Good command of spoken and written English.
