Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad in Malaysia seeks a detail-oriented operations professional to support account management, margin monitoring, invoicing, trade settlement, and related back-office duties within the stockbroking division.
The role involves ensuring timely settlements, verifying ownership for deposits, and coordinating with multiple departments to maintain accurate records and regulatory compliance. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
To process account management related activities such as account opening, updating and closing.
To monitor margin call and client fund movements.
To verify invoices and liaise with relevant department for payment.
To perform timely trade settlement with Bursa.
To execute trade allocations and amendments.
To verify beneficial ownership of any deposits, withdrawal and cash adjustments.
To liaise with respective FBRs/remisiers for any arising matters.
To monitor the back-office system database back-up.
To prepare regulatory and management reports on a weekly, monthly, or as-required basis.
To perform regular filing to maintain intact and up to date records.
To perform other ad-hoc operational duties as and when required by Company’s management.
Possess at least a Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Investment or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of working experience in the stockbroking industry, operations or any relevant function.
Basic knowledge of Futures products features will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Good command in spoken and written English.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
