Private Advertiser is seeking a Marine Surveyor to conduct surveys and audits onboard vessels across Malaysia. The role involves travel to various ports, offshore facilities, and requires readiness for offshore work and safety-critical environments.
Fresh graduates or final-year students in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Marine Technology are welcome. Training will be provided to qualify as a surveyor, with high starting salary and allowances for travel and petrol.

Job scope:
Conducting surveys and audits for new constructions, operational vessels, offshore facilities, and marine products in accordance with rules and regulations
Performing ISM/ISPS/MLC audits, product inspections, supplier audits and etc;
Familiar yourself with our class rules, the international regulations and flag state requirements;
Providing technical consultancy and notarized surveys;
Training will be provided to help you become a qualified surveyor.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in NAVAL ARCHITECTURE / MARINE ENGINEERING / MARINE TECHNOLOGY
Aged 24-30
Positive attitude, proactive and willing to learn
Willing to travel as required for work assignments
Willing to work overtime (don't worry overtime compensation will be provided)
Possess a valid driving license and own vehicle
Chinese-speaking candidates will have an added advantage, but top priority are academic qualifications and personal qualities.
**** This is not an office-based position. As a Marine Surveyor, you will be required to travel to various ports across Malaysia to conduct surveys and audits onboard vessels. In cases where vessels are at anchorage, you will need to transfer from a traffic boat to the vessel at sea. Given the physically demanding and safety-critical nature of this role, candidates must be in good physical condition and capable of working in challenging marine environments.
