Job summary

N.S. Precision Components Sdn Bhd in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a hands-on technician who enjoys diagnosing machine problems and learning how equipment works.

You will perform machine setup, troubleshooting, adjustment and preventive maintenance on production equipment and jigs, working directly on machines in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a technical certificate or diploma, 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma/SKM in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• 2-5 years hands-on experience in manufacturing, production equipment or machine maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to use basic measuring and diagnostic tools such as multimeter, vernier caliper and other hand tools.
• Experience with sensors, pneumatic components, motors and basic electrical systems will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair manual and semi-automatic production machines and equipment.
• Perform machine setup, adjustment and model/changeover activities.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and sensor-related problems.
• Adjust and troubleshoot production jigs to ensure correct product dimensions and quality.
• Investigate machine-related quality problems and identify the root cause.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
• Verify machine settings and first-piece output after setup or adjustment.
• Minimize machine downtime and respond quickly to production breakdowns.
• Read and understand basic electrical wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
