Job summary

Ideal Quality Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Operational Excellence Executive (Manufacturing) to drive process improvements, reduce waste, and boost productivity.

The role focuses on internal auditing of manufacturing processes, applying Lean and DMAIC, and collaborating with HODs to align with strategic goals. Strong data analysis skills with Excel or Power BI are preferred.

Experience in cost-saving initiatives and KPI tracking is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Min 3 years of hands-on experience in internal auditing, continuous improvement, manufacturing operations, or operational excellence.
• Track record of CI achievements especially in cost savings and efficiency improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities through process assessments and internal audits.
• Apply Lean tools, DMAIC, and other problem-solving techniques to identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste, reduce process variation, and improve operational performance.
• Work closely with different departments and HODs to identify improvement opportunities, implement practical solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyse operational data and KPIs using Excel or Power BI to measure improvement outcomes, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
• Document audit findings, prepare reports, and recommend practical corrective actions to strengthen internal controls and improve operational performance.
