S & P Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Factory Manager to oversee manufacturing, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain operations. The role requires strategic planning, process optimization, and strong team leadership to ensure safe, cost-efficient production that meets customer requirements and regulatory standards.

You will drive lean and Six Sigma initiatives, monitor OEE, yield, downtime and costs, and lead capacity planning, budgeting, and capital investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in plant/factory operations with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and automation.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent team management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily plant operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Implement lean operations and Six Sigma to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor KPIs including OEE, yield, downtime, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, ISO).
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals.
• Drive cost reduction, capacity planning, and capital investment decisions.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, engineering, and logistics.
• Foster accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the plant.
• Conduct performance reviews, training, and succession planning.
• Maintain quality management systems (ISO 9001) and address non-conformities.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure material availability and optimize inventory.
• Prepare and manage the plant budget and cost-control initiatives.
• Liaise with senior management, suppliers and customers to align operations with business needs.
