Job summary
Ultimate Machining Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee all IT operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will manage the IT infrastructure, ensure system availability, and drive ERP initiatives with Epicor to support production, planning and finance functions.
Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in IT with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, and prefer those with semiconductor/manufacturing experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
- 8–10 years of IT experience with ≥3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in semiconductor/manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, servers, cybersecurity, backup & DR.
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems in manufacturing.
- Experience with Epicor ERP is a strong advantage.
- Experience supporting ERP functions like production, planning & finance.
- IT project implementation and digitalisation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT operations and teams.
- Maintain IT infrastructure: servers, networks, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, storage & end-user devices.
- Ensure high availability and minimise downtime for manufacturing operations.
- Manage Epicor ERP: troubleshooting, upgrades, user support.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, HR.
- Support MES and other manufacturing systems where applicable.
- Identify opportunities to automate business processes via ERP solutions.
- Oversee cybersecurity controls and data protection.
- Lead IT upgrades, implementations, and digitalisation projects.
- Manage IT vendors, licences, and maintenance contracts.
- Prepare IT operating and capex budgets; support audits and compliance.
