in Malaysia is seeking an Information Technology Executive to lead a new enterprise software migration project, assist with system configuration, data and processes mapping, UAT, and deployment. The role covers ownership of plant IT infrastructure, networks and server systems, aligns ERP and MES operations with manufacturing needs, and collaborates with production, quality, finance and other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Manufacturing Processes Environment and Strong Understanding of Factory Operations.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or others)
• Experience with MES systems. That monitors, tracks, and controls the transformation of raw materials into finished goods on the factory floor.
• Strong Knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead a New Enterprise Software Migration Project, assisting with configuration, data & processes mapping, UAT, and deployment.
• Involved and lead major migration project from old ERP to new system and map processes for smooth deployment.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and Office departments to handle ERP changes, software upgrades, and system integrations; optimize workflows and data flow.
• Ensure IT system operations for stable performance including ERP and MES systems.
• Liaise with external ERP consultants, IT vendors, and service providers to resolve migration issues.
• Provide regular feedback to the department head regarding ERP migration progress, network performance and system health.
• Gather user requirements and translate into technical specifications or improvement plans.
• Provide end-user support for ERP, MES, and other business applications.
• Participate in data security, software licensing compliance, disaster recovery planning, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support daily operations and process optimization of ERP systems (purchasing, production, inventory, finance modules).
• Maintain and improve MES systems to ensure Real-Time and Accurate Production Data Tracking.
• Manufacturing Floor Support and translate operational requirements into system solutions.
• Support Production Floor IT devices and systems (barcode scanners, production reporting systems, work order systems).
• Assist in implementing smart manufacturing and digital factory initiatives.
• Data & Reporting Support: develop and maintain production, inventory, and operational reports; ensure data accuracy.
• General IT Support: assist in IT security policies and daily maintenance tasks.
