Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
EasyBiz is looking for a results-driven Sales & Account Manager to grow our customer base in Malaysia and Singapore. You will work from home in Johor Bahru (Singapore hours) and occasionally visit Singapore for customer demos, with travel costs covered.
The role emphasizes selling, setup, training, and ongoing support for small businesses using our AI-enabled platform. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in B2B SaaS sales, strong Mandarin and English, and the ability to explain complex concepts
EasyBiz (TRUSTYTECH PTE. LTD., Singapore, UEN 201807539R, https://www.easybizcloud.com/) is the operating system for local service businesses: laundries, home cleaning, repair and alteration shops. One platform runs their POS, online store, customer app, delivery drivers, CRM and marketing, with an AI assistant that sets up in minutes what used to take an agency weeks.
Real Singapore merchants run on EasyBiz every day, taking payments and printing receipts. You work from home in Johor Bahru on Singapore hours (same time zone), and now and then cross to Singapore to meet a customer, run a demo or help with an on-site setup. We cover the travel costs. Strong candidates elsewhere in Malaysia will also be considered.
We are AI-heavy by design. Our customers get an AI assistant inside the product, and so do you. It answers your questions, does setup work for you, and can teach you the whole system. You do not need to arrive an expert.
Sell: follow up inbound leads and referrals, find new customers yourself, run demos over video call or in person in Singapore, and close the sale. Our best customers are multi-outlet chains, shops with a real online business, and laundry factories.
Setup: configure each new customer's products, prices, outlets and receipt printers so they are genuinely live in their first week.
Training: walk owners and their staff through the system over video, phone or in person, in Mandarin or English. Your student may be a 62-year-old cashier who only uses WhatsApp.
Daily support: handle tickets and messages. Why is the receipt not printing? How do delivery orders come in? Work out yourself whether it is a configuration issue or a bug before escalating.
Retention and growth: keep your accounts live, using the product and not churning, and expand them to new outlets and modules.
Documentation: turn the questions you answer twice into help centre articles and SOPs, and feed them to our AI assistant so you never answer them a third time.
Fluent Mandarin and English, spoken and written. Most of our merchants are Singaporean Chinese business owners who prefer to be served in Mandarin, while our product, documentation and backend are in English.
2+ years in B2B sales, account management or SaaS customer success with small businesses. POS, payments, retail, F&B or e-commerce SaaS is a strong plus.
Genuinely patient, and able to explain complex things in plain language. This matters more than anything else on this list.
Self-troubleshooting: when a printer will not pair or orders are not arriving, you can narrow down where the problem is instead of forwarding it straight to engineering.
Remote-disciplined: the follow-up you promised actually happens. Your pipeline and queue live in a system, not your head.
Based in Johor Bahru (or elsewhere in Malaysia for the right person), working Singapore hours. Malaysian citizen or permanent resident, able to travel to Singapore for customer visits.
Hokkien, Cantonese or another Chinese dialect. Experience writing help centre content or tutorials. You already use AI tools heavily in your daily work.
RM 4,500 to 6,000 per month, based on experience.
Uncapped commission: two months of subscription for every new customer you sign. One month is paid after the customer's 1st monthly payment, the other after its 3rd. A customer on S$1,000 a month earns you S$2,000 (about RM 6,400).
Work from home, no clock-in, no daily Causeway commute.
Work directly with the founder, no layers. The customer feedback you collect shapes what we build next.
A product that ships fast, and an AI assistant that does the boring half of your job.
