Job summary

SmartHire by SEEK in Bangi, Selangor, seeks a Purchasing Executive to manage purchasing with local and overseas suppliers, especially China-based partners, ensuring smooth procurement, shipping, and delivery.

You will handle POs, supplier sourcing, logistics coordination, and cross-department collaboration to keep operations efficient. Minimum 3 years in purchasing with import/export knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Purchasing/Procurement/Inventory roles.
• Experience sourcing suppliers, evaluating options, and negotiating.
• Knowledge of import/export processes and logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and maintain Purchase Orders and related documents.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, lead time.
• Coordinate with China-based suppliers on orders and export arrangements.
