Job summary

Pivot Search is assisting a leading POS digital solutions provider to recruit a driven field sales professional for the Johor Bahru market, engaging merchants face to face to sell the POS system and broader solution suite.

You will join a six-person JB sales team reporting to the Sales Manager, with two seats currently open. The role is fully onsite, meeting daily at the Menara Zurich office on Jalan Dato Abdullah Tahir.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience pitching products, solutions or services directly to customers.
• Business-level Mandarin Chinese in addition to English — essential for engaging the Johor Bahru merchant base
• Comfortable with field sales and face-to-face merchant engagement
• Outgoing and proactive with strong communication and the ability to influence

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth by prospecting and acquiring new merchant clients across the Johor Bahru market
• Promote and expand the POS solution suite, including POS systems, rewards programmes and other business tools
• Conduct calls, face-to-face product demos, events and outreach with key decision makers — typically restaurant and SME owners
• Own the full sales pipeline end to end, from lead generation through to closing
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and a great customer experience
