ISoftstone Pte. Ltd. in Bandar Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, seeks a Data Center Facility Engineer (Mandarin) to oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical and cooling systems.

The role requires Mandarin proficiency, mechanical engineering background and 2–5 years’ relevant experience in a data center or critical facility environment. Full‑time with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering qualification or relevant certification in data center operations or facilities management.
• 2–5 years of experience in a data center or similar critical infrastructure environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling, power distribution and electrical systems.
• Mandarin proficiency is essential (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain data center environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, power).
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment (HVAC, generators, UPS).
• Troubleshoot facility issues to minimise downtime and service disruptions.
• Document maintenance findings in logs and reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and external contractors for repairs and upgrades.
• Respond to facility alarms and emergencies with corrective actions.
• Maintain records of performance metrics and report to management.
• Support capacity planning and infrastructure optimisation initiatives.
• Communicate with cross‑functional teams regarding operations and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
