Job summary

Ferrotec Manufacturing Malaysia is seeking a Facility Engineer to oversee plant facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and gas systems. The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facility management or engineering.
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
Strong project management abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain and manage plant facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to ensure uptime and safety.
Oversee water, electricity, gas layouts and facility specifications; manage industrial gas handling.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of power facilities and clean room HVAC systems.
Lead facility projects and supervise technicians; train others as needed.
Ensure adherence to EHS regulations and safety standards.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to sustain facility performance.
