Job summary

EI POWER BERHAD is seeking a Construction Manager who speaks Mandarin for a data centre project based in Johor. The role requires strong construction site management experience and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

The position is based on the project site in Johor and involves coordinating with multiple teams to ensure quality, safety, and on-schedule delivery.

Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant construction or site management experience.
Experience in Data Centre, Industrial, Commercial or M&E projects will be an advantage.
Valid CIDB registration and CIDB Green Card are required.
Mandarin-speaking is required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to be based at the project site in Johor.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily construction activities and site operations.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
Monitor construction progress, quality, safety and compliance with project requirements.
Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
Coordinate and resolve site issues, technical matters and construction delays.
Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and other site resources.
Conduct site meetings and coordinate with relevant project stakeholders.
Prepare and submit project progress reports and relevant site documentation.
Ensure compliance with CIDB, DOSH and other applicable statutory requirements.
Support project handover, testing and commissioning, and project close-out activities.
