Job summary

CIMB Malaysia is seeking a Client Engagement & Relationship Management professional with 3–5 years of banking experience to proactively identify opportunities among Chinese corporates and position CIMB as their preferred financial partner.

You will cultivate strong client relationships through regular interactions, meetings, and roadshows while coordinating with product teams to deliver tailored financial solutions and support onboarding with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of banking experience in Corporate/Commercial Banking or Treasury.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with Chinese corporates to identify business opportunities and position CIMB as their preferred financial partner.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagements, meetings, networking events, and roadshows.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and product partners to deliver tailored financial solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to support onboarding and business development.
• Prepare client pitch materials, decks, proposals, and roadshow content.
• Track and follow up on business leads with product teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Stay abreast of Chinese investment trends in Malaysia and ASEAN to identify opportunities.
