Job summary

CIMB Malaysia is seeking a Client Engagement & Relationship Management professional with 3–5 years of banking experience to proactively identify opportunities among Chinese corporates and position CIMB as their preferred financial partner.

You will cultivate strong client relationships through regular interactions, meetings, and roadshows while coordinating with product teams to deliver tailored financial solutions and support onboarding with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of banking experience in Corporate/Commercial Banking or Treasury.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).

Solution Delivery & Internal Coordination

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and product partners to develop and deliver tailored financial solutions that meet clients' needs and business objectives.

External Stakeholder Liaison

• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry bodies, and financial institutions, to facilitate client onboarding and support business development initiatives.

Marketing & Pitch Preparation

• Prepare client pitch materials, presentation decks, proposals, and roadshow content to effectively showcase CIMB's products, services, and value proposition.

Lead Management & Execution Support

• Track and follow up on business leads, working closely with product teams throughout the solutioning and execution process to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with client requirements.

Market Intelligence & Business Development

• Stay abreast of Chinese investment trends in Malaysia and across ASEAN to identify opportunities and support strategic business development efforts.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the banking industry, preferably in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, and/or Treasury.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.
