Job summary

MTSC TECH (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (Mandarin Speaking) to join our dynamic sales team in Johor Bahru, Johor and Singapore. In this full-time role, you will drive new business development and manage key client relationships to support growth initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, leading the team, pursuing opportunities, and closing deals. Strong Mandarin and English, with travel between JB and Singapore, are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 25 years of B2B sales experience.
• Experience in professional/technical services, testing, certification, engineering or industrial sectors.
• Good command of English; Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin are an advantage.
• Based in JB preferred; travel to Singapore; own transport; willing to travel JB–Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets.
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve KPIs.
• Identify and convert opportunities into customers.
• Oversee inbound enquiries and provide timely follow-up.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts and partners.
• Propose technical services, testing, certification, and engineering solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
• Monitor pipeline, conversion, and revenue forecasts.
• Report sales performance and market analysis to management.
• Travel between JB and Singapore for customer visits when required.
