Job summary

B&T Drilling Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting professional to manage full accounting cycles and related admin tasks in Penang. You will handle day-to-day accounting, monthly and management reports, and liaise with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance.

The role requires Mandarin proficiency and strong knowledge of taxation, inventory control, and import/export documentation. ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 compliance support is also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Mandarin proficiency compulsory for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Experience handling end-to-end accounting processes.
• Familiarity with taxation matters and liaising with tax agents.
• Experience liaising with auditors and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and day-to-day accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly accounts, financial reports and management reports.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments and bank reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Prepare documentation and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain LMW inventory records and reconcile with accounting records.
• Liaise with government departments and agencies including LHDN, Customs and LMW.
• Prepare cost analysis and supporting documents for applications and submissions.
• Assist with import/export and customs-related accounting documentation.
• Support ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 documentation and audit requirements.
• Ensure accounting and inventory records are accurate, complete and up-to-date.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required.
