Job summary

Genting Malaysia Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Manager – Finance (Overseas Operations) to lead performance analysis for gaming and non-gaming divisions and drive efficiency through SAS automation. You will coordinate budgeting, liaise with auditors, ensure ISO compliance and support insurance and licensing processes.

The role requires a solid accounting degree and at least 4 years in auditing or accounting, with strong English communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• A good degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
• Minimum 4 years of auditing/accounting experience and familiarity with FRS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Meticulous, highly organized with strong leadership qualities.
• Member of professional body (e.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MACPA, CPA, ICAA).

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly and quarterly performance analysis of Malaysia operation for gaming and non-gaming divisions.
• Conduct studies for preparing management reports and identify non-value-added processes.
• Recommend process automation and streamline existing financial reports using SAS.
• Prepare cost rationalization and revenue optimization finance projects.
• Coordinate budgeting process for gaming and non-gaming divisions' profit plan.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors regarding GENM Group financial results.
• Ensure ISO compliance for gaming and non-gaming divisions.
• Liaise with music licensing bodies for music license fee computations.
• Prepare sum insured calculations for GENM Group’s fire insurance and assist in claims.
• Undertake ad-hoc CPP-Reporting assignments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide monthly and quarterly performance analysis of Malaysia operation for gaming and non-gaming divisions
• To conduct study for the process of preparing existing gaming and non-gaming management reports and to identify non-value-added process
• To provide recommendation for process automation and streamline existing financial reports using SAS tools to improve efficiency and quality of the deliverables
• To prepare cost rationalization and revenue optimization finance related projects
• Coordinate, planning and monitoring the budgeting process for gaming and non-gaming divisions profit plan exercise
• Liaison with external auditors and internal auditors in relation to GENM Group financial results
• To ensure compliance of ISO requirements for gaming and non-gaming divisions
• To liaise with music licensing bodies for computation of music license fees of GENM Group
• To prepare the computation of sum insured of GENM Group’s fire consequential loss insurance and assist in insurance claims, if any
• Any other ad-hoc assignments related to CPP-Reporting
