Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited in Malaysia invites a Facilities Manager to oversee building maintenance, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, compressors, and safety equipment, while supporting EHS policies.

You will establish preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets, allocate resources, respond to emergencies, ensure building codes compliance, and lead a small maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, compressor, vacuum, dryer, cooling tower, road, parking, gardening and safety equipment.
• Manage Factory Maintenance Checklist. Assign tasks to Team Member.
• Establish Schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services identify resource needs.
• Review needs with appropriate management staff, allocate resource accordingly.
• Facility Maintenance budget, submit budget recommendations, monitor expenditures, prepare cost estimation, submit justifications.
• Develop and organize preventive maintenance and safety inspections programs for all facilities and equipment.
• Keep building safe by ensuring they meet building code requirements.
• Respond to emergencies/breakdowns/urgent issues as they arise.
• Undertake Electrical / Mechanical/ Civil works as needed to save cost.

Job description

Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs.
