Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Facilities Engineer/Technician to support daily facility operations in Malacca. The role involves maintaining permits, logs, and records, and assisting in asset/inventory management, while ensuring cleanliness and safety across the site.

The ideal candidate has a Cert/Diploma in Engineering or Science with at least 5 years' experience in facilities maintenance, and proficient in English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Cert / Diploma in Engineering or Science or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in related facilities field.
• Good command of English and Malay is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to local law and regulation to maintain permits and licenses related to facility operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment checklists, and service/inspection records.
• Assist supervisor to manage department fixed assets equipment and inventory spare parts.
• Monitor, report and record any facility faults or hazards to supervisors and ensure workplace cleanliness.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facility systems and report abnormalities.
• Execute in-house preventive maintenance activities and assist in first-attend troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist to execute cost-down activities and facility department improvement projects.
• Handle other ad hoc duties as required by supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification : Cert / Diploma in Engineering, Science or equivalent and with minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field are required for this position.

Experience : Knowledge in facilities system operation and maintenance including Electrical, HVAC, LEV, PCW, CDA, Clean room (C1K – C100K), RODI, Raw & Waste Water, Fire Fighting and Building Maintenance.

Skill : Candidates who possess a certificate A0- A4 from Suruhanjaya Tenaga will be an added advantage, Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an added advantage & Knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Language : Good verbal and communication skill in English and Malay
