Manager, Corporate Relations & Communications
Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and driven Manager, Corporate Relations & Communication to join our team. In this full-time, permanent role based in Selangor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective corporate communication strategies to strengthen Perodua's brand reputation and stakeholder relationships.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and executing comprehensive communication plans to promote Perodua's products, services and corporate initiatives
- Managing media relations, including drafting and distributing press releases, organising press conferences and handling media enquiries
- Coordinating internal communication activities to ensure consistent messaging across the organisation
- Maintaining and enhancing Perodua's online presence, including the corporate website and social media channels
- Providing strategic communication counsel to senior leadership on reputational and crisis management issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the achievement of Perodua's business objectives
- Monitoring and analysing communication trends and metrics to continuously improve the effectiveness of Perodua's communication efforts
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or a related field
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry is an added advantage, and experience in managing communication for a leading brand
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication campaigns
- Proficiency in managing digital and social media platforms
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
