Job summary

Sinotrans Logistics (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam is seeking an administrative professional to support contract logistics, warehouse operations, and new project implementations.

The role involves daily planning, using WMS for operations, and preparing reports for continuous improvements. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain, with strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operation and services for multiple customers.
• Utilize WMS to support daily tasks and improve operations.
• Plan daily activities based on client requirements and capacity.
• Prepare project and warehouse reports for analysis and improvement.
• Contribute to CPI and investment proposals for improvements.
• Assist in budgeting and tracking project implementation costs.
• Develop project plans with clear milestones and milestones progress.
• Identify solutions, conduct cost modeling, and obtain quotations from vendors.

Job description

To be responsible for all administrative work in contract logistics, including warehouse operation, new project implementation, Operation Excellence, Data Analysis & Solution Design and support as part of the team of new customer implementations.

Warehouse Operation

Managing the delivery of services to fulfil different customers requirement.

Using of WMS in support of daily operations.

Daily planning based on customer requirements against capacity, deploying and sharing of resources, & resolving conflicts.

Prepare any warehouse-related report for every project for analysis and identifying areas of improvements.

Implementing Continuous Process Improvement (CPI)

Prepare any Investment proposal regarding the improvement initiatives.

Project Implementation

Budgeting the implementation cost.

Conducting meetings, tracking actual versus planned and budgeted, and taking pro-active action.

Developing the project implementation plan with clear & achievable milestones.

Data Analysis & Solution Design

Identifying the possible solutions and the advantages versus disadvantages.

Developing the costing model.

Obtaining quotations and pricing from vendors & negotiation on the pricing frame.

Ensure compliance with the company policies ISO 9001 quality management procedures, including proper documentation and audit support.

Job Requirements

Possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Strong verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Well-versed in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Willing to work at Seksyen 22, Shah Alam.
