Job summary

MS Supply Chain Solutions (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (MSCSM) is a subsidiary of Mitsui-Soko. The Logistics Executive will serve as the window person for managing customer projects and providing shipment updates to the operations team.

You will plan packing materials, storage requirements, and coordinate with the operations team for packing, receiving and outgoing goods. You will arrange air and sea freight shipments for timely delivery, register new customers on a project basis, handle customer billing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/logistics related field.
• 1–2 years of related experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; strong coordination and communication skills.

Job description

Serve as window person for managing customer projects and providing shipment updates to operations team.

Plan and coordinate packing materials and storage requirements.

Coordinate with operations team for packing, receiving and outgoing.

Arrange air and sea freight shipments for timely delivery.

Organize meeting and closely communicate with customers and partners.

New customer registration by project basis.

Manage customer's billing promptly and prepare storage quotations.

Follow up on customer statements of account (SOA) and overdue payments.

Prepare and submit monthly reports.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Management / Logistics / Supply Chain.

Required Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.

At least 1-2 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.

Fresh graduate from logistics and supply chain course are welcome, training will be provided.

Good in coordination and communication skills.

Detail oriented, well organized, multi-task and fast paced.

A matured team player and self-motivated with high integrity.
