Job summary

Asian Pac Holdings Berhad (APHB) seeks a vigilant Mall Security Enforcer to safeguard mall premises and ensure safety for tenants, shoppers and visitors. The role requires proactive patrolling, enforcing house rules, monitoring CCTV, and responding to emergencies with professional conduct.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in security, is physically fit, and can work shifts including weekends. Ex-police or military background is a plus; APHB is a diversified group with longstanding values.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in security, enforcement, or related field (retail/mall environment preferred).
• Physically fit, alert, and able to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle conflict calmly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of mall premises, including car parks, entrances, and tenant areas.
• Enforce mall security policies, procedures, and house rules in a professional and respectful manner.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems to detect, deter, and respond to suspicious activity.
• Manage crowd control and assist with events, promotions, and emergency evacuations.
• Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, theft, or disturbances, and prepare detailed reports.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, and law enforcement officers on security-related matters.
• Provide assistance to shoppers and visitors, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including fire safety and emergency protocols.
