Job summary

PARKLAND AVENUE SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned Security Manager to oversee daily security operations for a mall, including access control, patrols and CCTV monitoring.

You will lead, supervise and schedule security personnel, coordinate with tenants and authorities, and respond to thefts, disturbances, and emergencies. Diploma/Degree in Security Management or related field, and minimum 5 years' experience in security management are required; strong leadership and incident response skills are

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in security management, preferably in a shopping mall, commercial building, hotel or similar environment.
• Experience in leading and managing a security team, including manpower scheduling and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, patrol operations, incident investigation and emergency response.
• Good understanding of security risk management, loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage theft, accidents, disturbances, fire emergencies and other security incidents
• Implement measures to prevent theft, vandalism, property damage and other potential security risks affecting tenants and visitors
• Ensure compliance with mall security procedures, emergency response plans, local authority requirements and relevant security regulations
• Coordinate with tenants, management, police, BOMBA, security contractors and other relevant agencies when required
