Job summary

Smart Legacy Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced F&B Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of a busy food court, ensuring smooth service and high standards. You will recruit and train a strong team, drive efficient workflows, and uphold food safety and regulatory compliance.

Lead and coach staff, manage tenant relationships, and implement continuous improvements to meet performance targets in a dynamic mall environment.

Qualifications

• Education background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing or related fields.
• Work Experience: At least 3 years in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry.
• Language Proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese advantageous for tenant/customer communication.
• Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide a diverse team.
• Analytical: Good problem solving and analytical skills to optimize operations and achieve targets.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective tenant and staff management.
• Positive Attitude: Proactive and responsible approach to work.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
• Willingness to Work Shifts: Ability to work shifts to accommodate operation's needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the food court, ensuring smooth operations and meeting customer expectations.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and elevate the customer experience.
• Attract, recruit, and train a talented team, providing guidance and coaching.
• Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and address tenant concerns effectively.
• Handle customer complaints and disciplinary matters professionally.
• Review operations regularly and propose improvements to enhance performance.
