Job summary

Siemens Energy in Malaysia seeks a Team Lead for Sales Distributed to guide a team of Client Managers and Proposals/Order Management professionals, owning select key accounts and contributing to regional targets.

You will lead a cross-functional team, drive price-to-win decisions, and shape how responsibilities are shared to optimize growth and profitability across the Gas Services – Distributed business in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 6 years in a senior sales role in industrial sectors such as oil & gas or distributed power.
• Proven experience leading teams and driving targets over time.
• Track record in project or service execution and contracts management.
• Strong ability to manage priorities including customer satisfaction, forecast accuracy, and development.
• Customer-oriented with a solutions-driven mindset and pipeline management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Order Entry and Sales pipeline for Gas Services – Distributed in Malaysia.
• Guide local pricing decisions focusing on price-to-win and profitability.
• Shape mid- to long-term strategy and ways of working with internal/external partners.
• Lead the Sales Distributed team in Malaysia and support Bangladesh team as needed.
• Strengthen customer relationships and drive long-term contracts and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate on forecasting, budget planning, and reporting with commercial counterparts.
