KONE Malaysia is seeking a Major Project Technician to join our Service Maintenance team in Petaling Jaya. You will work with a small group of Field Service Specialists attending fault calls, performing escalator and elevator repairs, and servicing assigned maintenance runs.

You will report in real time, build strong customer relationships, and troubleshoot issues on site. This role requires flexibility to travel, own transport, and a readiness to work overtime when needed within a dynamic,

Formación

• 2–3 years’ experience in elevator/escalator is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates welcome with basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Good customer relationships, service mindset, energetic, troubleshooting experience, team player, able to understand and follow instructions.
• Willingness to travel and own transport with valid motorbike license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and use digital tools on mobile.

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for accurate and real-time back reporting of work performed to ensure accuracy of customer notification.
• Responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with customers.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Networking On-call support and standby availability
• Providing service and assistance as needed
• Willingness to perform overtime as required
• Handling and assisting external visitors, effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Manages daily workload with minimal assistance from Supervisor.
• Ensure safety at all times.

Are you the one?

• Have 2-3 years’ experience in elevator and escalator industry is an advantage.
• Fresh gradudate are welcome to apply Have a basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.

• Possesses own transport and valid motorbike license.

• Have a basis digital foundation skill to use KONE system and application via mobile phone for work purpose.
