KONE Elevator (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager- Services for Southeast Asia to identify new opportunities and drive growth across the region.

You will collaborate with Sales, Offer Development and country teams to shape strategic initiatives, manage large projects, and ensure profitability in key segments. • Knowledge, skills, and experience in qualifying, structuring and negotiating with business partners.
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with different kinds of stakeholders and to develop relationships in a complex team environment.

Responsibilities

• Finds new business opportunities to position KONE competitively in the market and according to the short and long-term business goals.
• Build strategy and execute growth, especially for NKE, in all regions by working with countries.
• Manage complex business development projects, e.g., acquisitions, market entry projects or geographical expansions.
• Work closely with Sales and Offer Development to improve profitability in low-performing segments in regions with clear actions like pricing and offering.
• Ensure cross-BL or organization-wide implementation of growth opportunities, e.g., Advanced People Flow (APF) solutions or People Flow planning and consulting.
• Drive a turnaround of low business performance in a specific part of the business.
• Maintain a strong network within and outside of KONE to share best practices and understand current and future requirements.
• Increase SoM from KA through proactive engagement with KA customers.

What will you be doing?

Business Development Manager is responsible for

• Finds new business opportunities to position KONE competitively in the market and according to the short and long-term business goals
• Build strategy and execute especially for NKE growth in all regions by working closer with countries
• Manage complex business development projects, e.g., acquisitions, market entry projects or geographical expansions
• Work closely with Sales and offer Development to improve profitability in low performing segments in regions with clear actions like pricing, offering
• Ensures cross-BL or organization-wide implementation of growth opportunities, e.g., Advanced People Flow (APF) solutions or People Flow planning and consulting
• Drives a turnaround of low business performance in a specific part of business
• Manages complex, large, and difficult analysis, development, or implementation projects
• Ensures utilization of appropriate methods to support own responsibility area, e.g.
• Business planning
• Competitive analysis
• Marketing and communications planning
• Sales capability development and support
• Business benefits realization
• May lead, direct, and develop a team in own responsibility area
• Maintains strong network within and outside of KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future requirements.
• Increase SoM from KA through proactive engagement with KA customers

Are you the one?

• At the minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field e.g., business, economics, finance, engineering.
• Proven track record of consistent success in business performance and development.
• Experience in successful management of complex projects
• Understanding of costs, business principles and risk management
• Knowledge, skills, and experience in qualifying, structuring and negotiating with business partners
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with different kinds of stakeholders and to develop relationships in a complex team environment
