Job summary

Food Journal Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician focused on kitchen equipment to join its team. You will handle daily installation, maintenance and repairs across M&E systems, including AHU/FCU, pumps and water features, while coordinating with contractors for multiple building services.

The role requires 2+ years in plumbing, building maintenance and kitchen equipment maintenance, plus a technical certificate. On-call, shift, weekend and public holiday work is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in plumbing, building maintenance and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• SPMV/MLVK or technical certificate required.
• Willing to work on-call, on shift, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily installation, maintenance and repair works per checklist and schedule.
• Maintain filters and strainers for AHU, FCU, pumps, water features and other M&E equipment.
• Assist in inspection, testing and service of fire protection system.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical defects reported by outlets.
• Coordinate with contractors to maintain and repair electrical, plumbing and ventilation systems.
• Carry out building-related tasks such as masonry, painting, carpentry and drainage.
• Address outlets' complaints relating to facilities promptly and tactfully.

Maintenance Technician (Kitchen Equipment)

Food Journal is the F&B arm of PE Land Sdn Bhd, operating pioneering lifestyle establishments and event spaces such as Keeper’s Ground, Old Court House, Commons, Roots, the Dens, and Tables & Tales Foodhall.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to be part of our team!

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate and carry out daily installation, maintenance and repair works as per checklist and schedule.

Maintain filter and strainer for AHU, FCU, Pump, Water Feature, all M&E equipment etc.

Assist in inspection, testing and service of all fire protection system.

Troubleshoot and attend to minor mechanical and electrical defects reported by outlets.

Coordinate with contractor in maintaining and repairing electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building system.

Carry out any necessary building related work such as masonry, painting, carpentry, drainage, electrical piping plumbing and etc.

Attend to and resolve outlet's complaints pertaining to facilities issues with tact and promptness.

Requirements:

Possess SPMV or MLVK or any technical related certificate.

At least 2 year working experience in plumbing, building maintenance and Kitchen equipment maintenance.

Willing to work on-call, on shift, weekend and public holidays.
