Job summary

Only World Group in Penang is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repair, upgrading, maintenance and renovation works for the department, ensuring adherence to required standards and specifications.

You will provide regular progress updates to the supervisor, work shifts including Sundays and public holidays, and maintain high safety, quality and timely completion of tasks within the operational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
• Willing to work shifts including Sundays and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair, upgrading, maintenance and renovation works as required.
• Provide regular updates to supervisor on progress and issues.
• Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and within the required timeframe.

Job description

Carry out repair, upgrading, maintenance, and renovation works on behalf of the department in accordance with the required standards and specifications.

Provide regular and accurate updates to the supervisor on completed work, work in progress, and any outstanding tasks or issues requiring further attention.

Ensure all assigned work is carried out properly, safely, and efficiently, with attention to quality and detail, and completed within the required timeframe.

Perform any other duties, tasks, or responsibilities assigned by Management as required to support the department's operations and objectives.

Job Requirements:

Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments.

Willing and able to work shifts, including Sundays and public holidays, as well as extended working hours when required to meet operational needs.

Demonstrate good self-discipline, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team while completing assigned tasks efficiently and professionally.
